EASY-PEASY PLANTS
Let's face it, not all of us have green thumbs, but that shouldn't discourage you from brightening your home with greenery. Here are some plants that make it easy for you to fake it.
This self-propagating beauty practically thrives on inattention. Indirect light - whether low OR bright - makes a Spider Plant perfect for apartments and other spaces without a lot of windows.
MONSTERA
With bold, glossy leaves and large size, Monsteras make quite a statement. They adapt well to all kinds of light - including fluorescent. While they do need to be watered regularly, you’ll be forgiven if you go away for a weekend and forget them.
BIRDS NEST FERN
If you’re looking for low-maintenance greenery for your bathroom, a Birds Nest Fern fits the bill. They can be hung or potted, so work well in small spaces, and are happy in low level lighting.
FIDDLE LEAF FIG
If floor space is limited, a Fiddle Leaf Fig is a great option. Tall and dramatic, it grows up, not out, so is small space friendly. It does best with medium light, but only needs watering when the soil is dry to the touch.
PADDLE PLANT
This attractive succulent is a great addition to your indoor plant collection. It loves light - even direct sunlight, and doesn’t need a lot of moisture - requiring watering only when the top couple of inches of soil is dry.
There are lots of plants that practically take care of themselves, so don't be afraid to give them a try. You'll be glad you did.
